Our Team

Our People for the Mountains

At The High Mountains, we are more than just a team of professionals but a community bound by a shared vision: to empower mountainous areas and promote a different, more meaningful way of life.

We come from diverse fields such as marketing, education, political science, culture, agricultural production, and logistics. What connects us is our shared choice to engage in mountainous regions, aiming to contribute to a sustainable and collaborative model of living and working.

Whether we are designing community-supported agriculture initiatives, organizing social innovation workshops, or promoting fair and inclusive tourism, we work alongside local residents and mountain lovers alike. We learn from one another, build lasting relationships, and cultivate the future we envision for the communities of the highlands.

Mountain product

The quality designation "mountain product" denotes the distinctive qualities of a product made in mountainous regions under challenging environmental conditions.

Both farmers and consumers benefit from this acknowledgment. It not only makes certain characteristics of the product clear to the consumer but also helps farmers market their products more effectively.

  • Products: agricultural and food products.
  • Specifications: The raw materials and animal feed come from mountain areas. For processed products, production must also take place in these areas.
